If you're a car fanatic, you'll know a brand a logo can be important. Some are more eyes catching than others and some stand solely for quality of vehicle, but which are best car brand logos? Well, Cars Helpline picked the best car brands that we think are worthy of claiming the title of best car brand companies.
Ferrari: lf you know anything about cars, you'll have heard of Ferrari. These super-fast super cars are on that cause a lot of envy from fellow drivers when they're seen on the road. Ferrari is an Italian car manufacturer founded by Enzo Ferrari and the logo is simply stunning. The logo features a black stallion rearing on their hind legs portrayed over a bold yellow background. The company has used the same logo since 1932 and the top of the logo features a green, white and yellow line to represent the car's Italian routes.
While the logo might be popular, not many know the epic history behind it. The logo was originally a personal emblem for the best Italian fighter pilot during WWI, Francesco Baracca, and was painted on his fighter plane.
Lamborghini: for this we are again looking to the Italians, although this time, with some Spanish inspiration. The logo sports a golden bull, or Taurus, which represents Ferruccio Lamborghini's (the founder's) zodiac sign. The founder also had a strong interest in Spanish bull fighting which lead to the offer inclusion of the bull on the shield design.
The incredibly famous gold Taurus over the black shield, with a golden rim, looks a little similar does it not? The black over gold, the central animal? Sounds somewhat close the Ferrari to me, and as it turns out, this wasn't an accident.
Lamborghini and Ferrari had a longstanding rivalry against one another so the logo was made to be different enough to be noticed, but not so different it would drift too far from what people already knew. The black backing is thought to reflect power, prestige, elegance and integrity, while the gold stands for wealth and tradition.
Bentley: Bentley is a renowned British automaker who strives in created luxury. Bentley is now a subsidiary owned by Volkswagen, a German manufacturing company. Bentley was founded in 1919 by W.O Bentley and his brother H.M Bentley. The Bentley brothers wanted their own vehicles, designed and created by them that would with stand the test of time, so they did! Their logo is rather detailed and sports a bold B in a circular emblem surrounded in a wings. The manufacturers were involved in creating aircraft engines in WWI, so naturally the wings became a part of their logo when they began developing cars.
Maserati: We'll return back to beautiful Italy for this one. The Italians like their super cars, and they like their grand, epic logos! Maserati was founded in 1914, with headquarters now in Modena. Originally though, headquarters were in Bologna, which is where the Trident-style logo comes from.
The silver trident is simple yet outstanding, and represents the mark of the town-Bologna, to keep the car true its roots.
